Who Are We ?

The Association of Cameroonians Physicians in Canada is a group of Cameroonians physicians practicing in Canada.

Education & Awareness

We want to educate and raise awareness among the immigrant population in general and Cameroonians in particular about existing health care and the importance of prescribed and recommended health measures in order to facilitate their access to health services and reduce social inequalities in health.

Focus on Diversity

We want to promote academic excellence in the health sector among people of immigrant background in Canada and increase their representation in the medical profession.

Development

We want to encourage scientific and health development in Canada and Africa.

What We Do ?

We organize different activities in order to reach all our objectives. Here are some of them :

01. Educational Activities

We host annual conferences and/or symposiums, conferences on various health-related topics, seminars and educational workshops, whether online or in person.

02. Support Programs For Locals

We offer a variety of support programs for aspiring physicians in Canada: mentorships, support programs during medical school in Canada and other similar activities.

03. Mentorship Programs For Internationals

We also offer several mentorship programs for international physicians, students and international medical graduates who wish to enter the Canadian health care system.

04. Donations

We donate to programs, organizations and projects that promote and encourage health among Canadians.

05. Recognizing Excellence

We give scholarships, awards and distinctions to individuals in Canada and Africa who have distinguished themselves in their studies or in their discipline.
